Best back up program

I've been reading through this tribe and I'm a little confused about what program is the best to back up DVDs. I've been using DVD X Copy, but it doesn't always work. I keep getting error messages right at the end.

It sounds like DVD Shrink is my best bet?

I love DVD Shrink. I've rarely had any problems with it and my discs are almost always flawless. It's also quite easy to use, which is a huge plus.

Do you have a URL for DVD Shrink?

I have used DVD Fab, which comes from the same guys that did DVD Region Free... I love DVD Region Free... DVD Fab is OK. Strange GUI, a bit disturbing, but is more or less does the job.

      I''m interested in exploring alternatives.

I used to have problems using DVD Shrink exclusively, but now I use DVD Decrypter to do the ripping and writing and DVD Shrink to do the encoding. That setup works like a charm for me.

Yeah, I backed up a couple last night and that combination works great!

I just wish there was someplace to download .iso files so that I could continue to practise backing up. ;)

Same here! I played around with a few people using CuteFTP and trying to download some iso's overnight, but nothing consistent.
