DVD Shrink has always worked flawlessly for me, but I do keep DVD Decrypter on the side for troublesome discs. Shop4Tech.com has awesome prices on DVD media. I buy a 100 pk of the Sonic brand and have never had any bad media issues. Shipping is free too.

I love how with clone dvd i can see all the content i decide to keep or not write onto the dvd. i can even leave out chapters if i wanted to (maybe to cut out the credits to allow for those jobs that need just that slight touch of extra space?).

it's cool i how you all rave over DVD Shrink. is it really worth checking out? i mean, with what i use, the phrase "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" comes to mind.

"DVD Shrink will become obsolete"

It's already obsolete in one way...there will be no new versions of it. Taking the encoding out of the equation will be nice, though, but until those damn DL discs start getting cheaper, I'm gonna keep on doing what I do. :)

I have used DVD Fab, which comes from the same guys that did DVD Region Free... I love DVD Region Free... DVD Fab is OK. Strange GUI, a bit disturbing, but is more or less does the job.

I''m interested in exploring alternatives.
